The task behind the project
Alpine-X explores AI agents with their own workspaces and defined workflows. For me, documents, steps and approvals must remain traceable.
Each agent receives a bounded workspace and files, like an employee’s desk. Workflows are defined chains, such as analysis → review → approval. At set points, a person decides through Telegram or the interface. An activity log is intended to make steps traceable. Hashes alone would be neither digital signatures nor proof of substantive correctness.
As of 11 October 2026, Stoicera describes Alpine-X as in use. Access is available on request; a demonstration or trial is agreed around the specific use case. The product page explains its current scope and introduction.
Key facts
- Audience
- Businesses with recurring document work
- Working approach
- A workspace per agent — context from files rather than chat history
- Approval
- Human decision through Telegram or the interface
- Traceability
- Documenting steps and approvals
- Public access
- Access on request from Stoicera · checked 11 October 2026
What the work involves
- A bounded workspace per agent instead of a shared session
- File-based context: the agent uses what is in its workspace
- Defined workflows with successive roles
- Human approvals at defined points, not only at the end

Thinking beyond the work
Hashing, encryption and digital signatures: the difference
Checksums, confidentiality and verifiable origin serve different purposes. A decision guide for files, backups and software protocols.
Evaluating AI agents: from a good impression to a useful result
An agent can report convincingly while doing the wrong work. A framework for checking tasks, results, permissions and repeatable trials.
AI agents beyond the chat window
A chat window can help with ideas, but workflows need more. Why operational AI needs a workspace and a person to approve its actions.
