The task behind the project
Farleda is our flagship project at Stoicera and my main entrepreneurial focus. We are building infrastructure for sustainable travel planning in Europe: understanding rail connections, comparing alternatives and tracing the basis of calculated emissions. The project was previously called Trippin.
As CTO, I lead the technical work; Sebastian Kern is CPO. We are looking for rail and infrastructure companies for paid, twelve-week pilots covering a defined corridor or use case. Data access, scope and success criteria are agreed together.
As of 15 October 2026: farleda.eu announces the open beta for 31 October 2026. The website shows product views with labelled example data. The Trip Carbon Passport records a signed planning dataset; on its own, it confirms neither a completed journey nor avoided emissions.
Making a travel decision traceable.
My contribution as CTO is Farleda’s technical development. Sebastian Kern leads product work as CPO.
Understand the journey
Destinations and preferences are the starting point for planning.
Compare alternatives
Travel time, changes and modelled emissions can be compared side by side.
Understand the calculation
Sources, factors and assumptions show the basis of an estimate.
Record the plan
A signed planning record allows the calculation to be reviewed later.
Status & limitations
The public views use synthetic example data. A signed planning record does not prove completed travel or emissions actually avoided. The open beta is announced for 31 October 2026.
