Project 16 / Active

Schulnavi

Find and compare Austrian schools on an interactive map. The project makes official school locations and geographic information accessible to students and parents. It began at HTL Perg in 2024. Current sources and coverage are documented on the product website.

The task behind the project

Choosing a school starts with questions: what is nearby, which school types fit and how do locations differ? Schulnavi makes that search accessible on a map.

The project began at HTL Perg in 2024. Development connects official school data with geographic search and comparison. I contribute product work, data and development within Stoicera.

As of 11 October 2026, Stoicera describes the public school finder with a map, school profiles, saved schools and comparisons. Schulnavi documents the sources and limits of its data. Public school profiles are distinct from editorial profile management by institutions.

The challenge is turning data into useful decision support. Sources, collection periods and discrepancies must remain visible. Schulnavi documents current sources and coverage on its website.
