Christian Aberger
I know Professor Aberger from my time at HTL Perg and experienced him as an excellent teacher. Alongside teaching, he develops his own software through Aberger Software.
Johannes Oppitz
Professor Oppitz is one of the teachers I particularly value from my time at HTL Perg. I knew him as an excellent professor and recommend him based on that personal experience.
Dominik Raffetseder
I also know Dominik Raffetseder from my time at HTL Perg. I regard him as an excellent teacher and gladly recommend him from personal experience.
Rainer Stropek
I value Rainer Stropek through what I see of his work online. His public contributions to software development encourage me to keep learning and explore technical questions more deeply.

A reproducible PowerShell exercise: create a test file, calculate SHA-256, compare line endings and interpret results correctly. With a PDF edition.
Understanding SHA-256: from bytes to a hash
Why a SHA-256 hash has 64 hexadecimal characters, how bytes matter and what a checksum actually establishes. With examples, a browser demo and PDF.
Evaluating AI agents: from a good impression to a useful result
An agent can report convincingly while doing the wrong work. A framework for checking tasks, results, permissions and repeatable trials.
A partnership starts with a shared task
Reach, technology and expertise can complement each other. A lasting collaboration needs a shared result and clear contributions.
From prototype to operation: what to clarify before real use
An application runs. But who maintains it, notices errors and restores data? Six questions for the transition from demonstration to daily use.
A book that renews itself
The free book from christlichdenken.at is regenerated with every release. What happens when you treat a book like software — and why.
Tools that hold up
nerve supports software development, fleetdeck handles deployment. Why I build my own tools, explain them and state their limits.
One instance per institution
Why Schulmittag uses separate instances, the responsibility this creates and why isolation alone does not guarantee security.
Who builds, answers
The sentence we work by, and what it costs. Responsibility in software, teaching and under your own name.
Software for municipalities: what digitisation really needs
School meals on paper, spoken registrations, manual billing. What building Schulmittag taught me about municipal digitisation.
AI agents beyond the chat window
A chat window can help with ideas, but workflows need more. Why operational AI needs a workspace and a person to approve its actions.
Why we use fixed prices
An hourly rate rewards slowness. A fixed price rewards clarity. Why at Stoicera we owe a result, not hours.
Open source as service
Why I believe in open source as a principle, not a business model. Sharing knowledge and code.
Technology and ethics
Great technical power brings responsibility. Thoughts on the ethical dimension of our work as developers.
Why I program
Programming is more than a profession: it is a way of thinking. The beauty of code and the joy of creating.

From prototype to operation — discussion worksheet
Discuss key workflows, support, errors, data and changes before use.
Starting a partnership clearly — discussion worksheet
Clarify shared results, contributions, effort and use for a first project.
AI in practice
A convincing answer is a start. AI becomes interesting when a task produces a usable result, with the right context, bounded permissions and a verifiable handover.
Software & Operations
A product must handle people, exceptions and change. I focus on software that clarifies a concrete task and holds up beyond its first successful test.
Entrepreneurship & Collaborate
An idea gains weight when someone uses it. To me, entrepreneurship means taking a problem seriously, developing a viable solution and remaining answerable for its consequences.
ABM Campus
ABM Campus is our initiative for practical learning and exchange around technology and business. Its public website at campus.austrianbusiness.at is in preparation. My office welcomes enquiries about shared formats and partnerships.
Sacretus
Knowledge with provenance: Sacretus connects documents, validated facts and source versions with a local language model. A Stoicera research project in its pilot phase, which I stand behind personally. Pilot partners are invited individually.
Stoicera Atlas
Structure data, design views and connect workflows. Stoicera Atlas is available as a closed demo on request. A walkthrough starts with your use case; the demo link requires an account provided by the operator.
Stoicera Bid Desk
Screen tender documents against a company profile: identify relevant tenders, missing evidence and deadlines with source references. The business retains the bid decision. Analysis and setup are arranged with Stoicera.
Wachsam
Digital security through play: short cases help people recognise phishing, fake messages and scams. Wachsam is available in the browser; Android and iPhone apps have been announced. Businesses have a dedicated training path.
PraxisSchutz
A Stoicera product for encrypting PDF attachments locally on Windows 11. Patient codes are shared separately. The public preview does not replace a complete security plan; the product page documents its current validation status and limitations.
barri.at
A tool for digital accessibility being developed at Stoicera. Its public launch is in preparation. Software can support an assessment; using it alone does not demonstrate accessibility compliance.
Orivane
A configurable system for storing, connecting and querying structured data. Notes, tasks, calendars and projects are examples of my personal use. I develop it to connect knowledge with clear workflows. AI support is optional; access to context and permission to act are separate questions. In development and internal testing, with no public product access announced (18 September 2026).
Schulnavi
Find and compare Austrian schools on an interactive map. The project makes official school locations and geographic information accessible to students and parents. It began at HTL Perg in 2024. Current sources and coverage are documented on the product website.
belegwerk
A file-based invoicing tool: structured JSON becomes a PDF and register entries are SHA-256 chained. Public source under MIT. A hash chain can reveal changes against a trusted reference, but alone prevents neither rewriting the entire register nor guarantees legal compliance.
MealTime (Schulmittag)
MealTime connects school meal registration, daily administration and billing. Schulmittag is its public-facing name. My contribution is technical development and operations at Stoicera. The product is in pilot operation; access and rollout are agreed individually.
Stoicera Group
The company Sebastian Kern and I run. I contribute to all projects, usually as Head of IT: hands-on development, coordinating freelancers and partners, and AI-assisted workflows. Products, services and terms are documented at Stoicera.
Alpine-X AI
A platform for AI agents with separate workspaces, files and defined workflows. My focus is the link between automation, documented steps and human review. Stoicera describes the platform as in use, with access on request. A demonstration or trial is agreed for the specific workflow.
Austrian Business
Austrian Business Magazine publishes business and technology analysis from Austria. Stoicera publishes the magazine; the editorial team is responsible for its content. I lead the technical platform and digital development and contribute my own analysis. Articles are openly licensed under CC BY 4.0.
christlichdenken.at
A library on faith, the Bible and Christian life. I co-author its collected book, “Christlich denken — Eine Bibliothek von Denkwegen”, freely available as PDF and EPUB. Website and book share the same text sources.
ABM for ALL
The magazine’s open initiative: free tools and workshops for founders in Austria. I deliver the workshops myself.
LugmayrKern
Stoicera Software Group’s regional IT provider, run with Sebastian Kern: software development, modernisation and operation for businesses and individuals. I lead development and IT infrastructure.
Covveal
An earlier SaaS product of mine. Its former public domain, covveal.de, was unreachable when checked in September 2026. Its operating status is not confirmed here.
Ikaze Vienna
A bilingual platform for a cultural association previously hard to find online: membership, events and room booking together, with a CMS the association operates independently. Also Google Workspace for Nonprofits. Built at Stoicera with Sebastian.
Dr. Erwin Schatz
Branding, website and CMS for Dr Erwin Schatz’s practice. I led development; LitusCMS lets the practice manage its content. Sebastian handled photography and training.
Diocese of Linz
IT support and website work for the Diocese of Linz, provided without charge. For me, church work is a conviction rather than a business model.
LITUS CMS
I wrote this CMS for websites updated infrequently by their owners: practices and small businesses wanting to own their content rather than rent it. Used on dr-schatz.at.
NOR
Faith-inspired fashion, my next venture. Each piece unique. Not launched yet, planned for Q4 2026.
Farleda
Our flagship project at Stoicera: infrastructure for European rail journey planning and traceable emissions comparisons. As CTO, I lead the technical work. The open beta is announced for 31 October 2026; we are looking for rail and infrastructure partners for clearly scoped pilots.
nerve
My AI coding assistant in Rust, with terminal workflows, project context and development tools. Its source is currently private (September 2026).
fleetdeck
A Go deployment tool for Docker Compose and Traefik, used for separate application instances. It automates deployment steps; configuration and operation remain separate responsibilities. Source on GitHub.
nous
An experimental local coding-assistance architecture. Its public repository describes symbolic processing; the architecture alone does not establish reliable coding performance.
granit
